The France forward has been firmly connected with Manchester United.
Ex-Liverpool striker Torres disclosed to BBC Football Focus he confronted a comparative crossroads before a £50m move to Chelsea in 2011, yet demands the 26-year-old can understand his potential at Atletico.
"Where are you going to go to enhance what you have in Atletico?" he said.
