Luis Enrique reiterates wish for Messi to end career at Barcelona

The Barca supervisor, who is leaving his post taking after the season, seeks after the legend to complete his playing days at the club

Active Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has repeated his yearning for Lionel Messi to end his vocation at the club.

Messi was the saint in the Clasico on Sunday, netting a last-pant victor in a 3-2 triumph that took Barca in front of Real Madrid at the highest point of LaLiga.

Messi praised the objective by removing his shirt and holding it high up, which some translated as a sign he is ready to sign an agreement expansion with Barca.

Parcel out of Champions League semi-last

Pushed on that theme in his media gathering in front of Wednesday's meeting with Osasuna, Luis Enrique stated: "My specific sentiment is that I might want him to end his vocation at Barca, yet that is something for Leo to choose.

"The individual who can best clarify the festival of the objective in the Clasico is Leo."

This crusade is the last season in which Luis Enrique will mentor Messi, having reported his goal to leave the club toward the finish of the term back in March.

In any case, the 46-year-old is not disillusioned he will no longer work with Messi, rather valuing the time he has possessed the capacity to go through with the player many view as the best ever.

He included: "In my goodbye I see the positive side, that is to have possessed the capacity to prepare and direct to Leo Messi, not the one that I won't have the capacity to do it."
