Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil says he will put talks over his future at the club on hold until the late spring.
Ozil, 28, has quite recently under a year left on his agreement in the wake of joining the Gunners from Real Madrid in 2013.
However the German needs to help 6th put Arsenal complete in the main four and secure a Champions League put before talking about his future.
"Right now what is critical is Arsenal, not me or whatever other players," Ozil disclosed to Sky Sports.
"The group are having a more troublesome spell and at this stage I am not imperative, no other player is vital - what is critical is the club.
"We will talk in the late spring and clear things then. Right now it is inappropriate to consider that."
Supervisor Arsene Wenger came in for reestablished fan feedback amid and after the side's 3-0 crush by Crystal Palace on Monday, however Ozil said the Frenchman "merits regard" for his accomplishments.
"I generally said he was the most critical consider me coming here," he included.
"He has been here for a long time and has given a considerable measure to this club and I think he merits regard for what he has accomplished here."
