Atletico Madrid don't expect Manchester United to match Griezmann's €100m clause


Club president Enrique Cerezo does not think the striker will leave Atletico Madrid for Manchester United amid the mid year 

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is certain Antoine Griezmann will stay put paying little heed to the France universal's remarks that there is a "six out of 10" chance he will join Manchester United. 

Griezmann has been intensely connected with a move to Old Trafford as of late and his most recent comments have just further fuelled theory an exchange is coming soon. 

All things considered, Cerezo is inflexible Griezmann has not communicated a longing to leave and he doesn't anticipate that any clubs will coordinate the 26-year-old's €100million buyout condition. 

"His current remarks don't amaze me. He gets asked a similar question constantly," Cerezo told RMC. 

"I think he is getting somewhat irritated at answering a similar question over and over when everybody knows his circumstance. The circumstance is that Antoine is an Atletico player and still has an agreement for three or four more years. 

"He has never revealed to me that he needs to take off. 

"There has not been any approach from Manchester United. 

"Right now, no group has offered us to pay his discharge proviso. What's more, I don't think anybody will meet his condition." 

Griezmann has an agreement with Atletico until June 2021.
