Pablo Zabaleta: Manchester City defender to leave club in the summer

Pablo Zabaleta will leave Manchester City toward the finish of the season following nine years at the club.

The 32-year-old Argentine, who marked from Espanyol in August 2008, is out of agreement this late spring.

City's third longest-serving player after Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany, he has shown up for the club, winning two association titles, the FA Cup and two League Cups.

Notwithstanding, he has begun just 22 amusements in all rivalries this season.

His last home appearance could come in Tuesday's match against West Brom, with City's last round of the season at Watford next Sunday.

In a meeting with Sport 360 this week, Zabaleta stated: "As players, we can't play for a long time.

"I'm not getting any more youthful and we see new players coming in for the future, that is typical in football, and you need to acknowledge, particularly for this club which is so requesting as far as attempting to win trophies."

Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Willy Caballero are among the other City players out of agreement in the mid year.
