The Camp Nou side have acknowledged the midfielder won't be permitted to leave the Parc des Princes this late spring
Barcelona have cooled their enthusiasm for marking Marco Verratti, with PSG inflexible that they won't offer the midfielder this mid year.
Barca had been seeking after the Italy worldwide as a potential marquee securing this late spring, notwithstanding putting a valuation of €80 million on the 24-year-old.
Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu trusts that the player would "love" to move to Camp Nou, yet acknowledges that an arrangement is impossible because of PSG's refusal to hold talks.
"Clubs need to arrange. Take a gander at Verratti, for example, a player we're keen on marking, the mentors trust he is adequate to play in Barca's midfield," he disclosed to Mundo Deportivo.
"We realize that the player would love to come to Barca however when you call PSG and you converse with the president [Nasser Al-Khelaifi], he says that he's not available to be purchased and there is no discharge statement.
"Thusly, the president can choose on the off chance that he craves consulting with us or not. In this sense, Spanish football is vulnerable. Here, there are discharge conditions and there, there aren't.
"What's more, untouchables can come and pay and we can't. So for the time being, we've not sat down with PSG, in spite of the player's eagerness to come to Barca. We should acknowledge it.
"We had it before with Cesc [Fabregas], when Arsenal did not have any desire to hold chats with us for a year. They let us know by letter and we needed to acknowledge it.
"In the event that Verratti had a condition, we could go for him. There is no recipe. In the event that you would prefer not to offer something...
"The player has said that he needs to leave yet PSG disclose to him he'll have the capacity to go just when his agreement closes."
Verratti's operator Donato Di Campli revealed to Corriere Dello Sport this week that he would meet with administrator Nasser Al-Khelaifi to talk about the player's future, however a source near Al-Khelaifi has denied this to Goal, demanding the club's wearing executive Antero Henrique is accountable for player buys and deals.
