Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has rejected cases he is near marking another agreement at the Nou Camp, regardless of the club's leader Josep Maria Bartomeu declaring that an understanding is close.
Iniesta is yet to concur another arrangement with the La Liga side, which will be a stress for the club's board as his agreement runs out toward the finish of this season.
Not long ago Bartomeu talked about his certainty that an assention is set up for the 33-year-old to expand his stay at the Catalan monsters.
He revealed to Spanish daily paper, Mundo Deportivo: "We have an assention on a basic level for Iniesta to reestablish his agreement and we would like to finish it in the coming weeks. We're holding up to keep talking, yet Iniesta is a player we need to resign here when he feels it's the perfect time to resign.
"The thought is that he has an inconclusive contract which reestablishes year on year until the point that he feels it's either time to resign or time for a change. We might want to declare it soon, yet despite everything we're talking.
"Andres is a player like Leo Messi, a one-club man and a reference indicate due his dedication and unwaveringness. They're good examples for the children at La Masia and the new era of players coming through."

In any case, Iniesta told correspondents "no" on Wednesday at El Prat air terminal when inquired as to whether an understanding is set up.
The player was touching base back in Barcelona following his inclusion for Spain on universal obligation, he began both of his national side's diversions, as they beat Italy 3-0 and whipped minnows Liechtenstein 8-0 in qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
