Liverpool forward Sadio Mane will serve a three-coordinate suspension for his red card at Manchester City, the Football Association has affirmed.
Mane was sent off for getting City goalkeeper Ederson with a high boot amid his side's 5-0 overcome at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Liverpool claimed against the length of the boycott, with both the player and manager Jurgen Klopp demanding the test was not purposeful.
However, the FA have rejected their allure and Mane will sit out the club's next three local recreations.
An announcement from the Football Association on Tuesday stated: "Sadio Mane's three-coordinate suspension, which was taking effect right now, stays set up after his claim of unreasonable discipline was rejected after an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing."
