mistake by Alisson, he spills Lukaku's low cross into the six-yard box
straight into the path of Lingard, who gratefully chips the ball over
the Liverpool keeper and into the back of the net. It looked to be a
simple catch for Alisson, but he fails to gather the ball on the greasy
surface and Lingard makes no mistakes from just a couple of yards out.
24| GOOOOAAALLL! Liverpool lead 1-0! Mane strikes to give
the hosts the lead and what a lovely goal it is. Fabinho with a superb
lofted ball over the top of the United defence and Mane chests it down
and then volleys it past De Gea and into the back of the net. Poor
defending by United, they needed to be tighter as Mane had so much time
and space in the penalty area to control the ball and produce a fine
finish.
