Ronaldo issued a similar signal to Atletico coach Diego Simone as he celebrated his first goal in the first leg by turning to the crowd and putting his hands on his pants.
Simeoni was fined 20,000 euros ($ 22,708) for the incident but was not suspended for the return match. Juventus will face Ajax Amsterdam in the quarter-finals of the continental championship.
