Real Madrid confirm deal to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard on a five-year deal

Real Madrid announced on Friday their signing of Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard.

The club has issued an official statement through its website, announcing the agreement with Chelsea to join the Belgian international.

We have reached an agreement for the transfer of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.

We would like to wish Eden well as we say a fond goodbye.#ThankYouEden

The Spanish club said in a statement that Hazard will sign a contract for 5 seasons, ending in the summer of 2024.

Hazard is due to be presented to the fans and the media next Thursday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, immediately after undergoing medical tests.

According to press reports, the Real deal with Chelsea included the £ 130 million, including additional incentives.
