Youri Tielemans has completed a £40m transfer from Monaco to Leicester and has signed a four-year contract.

The 22-year-old Belgian has signed a four-year contract to become the third player to join Brendan Rodgers in the current transfer period after James Justin and Ayoze Perez arrived.

The two parties did not disclose the financial value of the deal but British media reported that Leicester had paid 40 million pounds (50 million dollars) for Tillman's services, a record in the club's history of over £ 30 million paid to Newcastle in exchange for Perez last week.

"I'm happy to join Leicester," said Tielemans on the club's Web site. "I feel that the team has the talent to make things happen, and the atmosphere that any player is happy to be part of." I can not wait to start my career and do everything to help my teammates. "He said.

The Belgian international spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester, 13 games, scoring three goals and making four.

"The signing of Yuri players shows the extent to which this club is hungry for success," said Rodgers. "He has already shown his ability to leave a footprint in the Premier League and give us other options in this talented group in Leicester City."
