Arsenal lose to Frankfurt at half-empty Emirates

90' + 3' FULL-TIME: ARSENAL 1-2 EINTRACHT FRANKFURT.

90' + 2' MISS! It should be three! Da Costa gets space for a cross and picks out Paciencia who hits it first time, but it's wide from close range!

89' That's beautiful from Saka - he just shifts his bodyweight to get away from his marker, drawing a challenge from Kostic. Saka then goes down in the box, the crowd call for a penalty, but the referee waves it away.

86' Yellow card Granit Xhaka
84' Kostic again has space to attack on the left. He passes back to Kohr, who returns the ball to Kostic with a one-two, but the cutback is blocked.
82' Kamada on the break feeds Kostic to his left. He cuts inside and tries to pick out Kohr with a pass into the middle, but it's cut out.
80' Arsenal don't look at all like scoring. If only they had options on the bench they could have brought on! Well, Pepe and Lacazette were those options, but Emery has already made all three substitutions.
74' Mustafi is the next to go into the book with a challenge from behind on Pacienca. He's suspended for the final group game.
73' Saka wins a free-kick off Da Costa in a good position here to the left of the goal. Xhaka steps up, but it's a poor delivery. Willock nearly makes something of it, but Frankfurt clear.

70' Gacinovic is in here with a chance to make it 3-1, but Sokratis gets across and blocks! How's Gacinovic getting in behind? Arsenal's defensive line are so high and caught totally unaware of his run.
68' What a turnaround from Frankfurt! They're now on course to win just their second away game against English opponents. They've only one once beforehand in six games in England, a 2-1 victory coming all the way back in 1967 against Burnley in the Fairs Cup.

64' GOAAAL! GOAAAL! FRANKFURT LEAD 2-1!! It's Kamada with a brace! The warning signs were apparent, but Arsenal didn't react to the changing flow of the game. All from a poorly defended corner - the ball drops to Kamada in space at the edge of the box and he tucks a low shot into the bottom-left corner.

63' GOOD SAVE! Frankfurt move the ball well across the pitch and Kostic has a chance to test Martinez, forcing him to drop down low to his right and palm his effort behind for a corner.
62' Ozil has a chance to launch a counter-attack, but he turns back instead and puts Tierney under some pressure with a looping cross-field pass, forcing the left-back to turn back to his keeper. That's a good chance for a break wasted.

55' GOOOAAAL! FRANKFURT EQUALISE! Will Arsenal come to rue their missed chances? Kamada punishes the Gunners for their profligacy and drags Frankfurt level with a wonderful left-footed strike into the bottom-left corner. It's his first European goal!

45' + 5' HALF-TIME: ARSENAL 1-0 EINTRACHT FRANKFURT.
45' + 5' And Arsenal head straight up the other end and Aubameyang picks out Xhaka at the edge of the box, but he slips at the wrong moment and scuffs his effort wide!

45' + 1' GOAAAL! ARSENAL LEAD 1-0! Great play again from Martinelli to create a yard of space for himself on the right and he fizzes a low cross into the six-yard box, left by Saka and Aubameyang is there to drill it home. It takes a touch off Ronnow's foot and he very nearly manages to knock it over the bar, but it's over the line and Aubameyang now into double figures for the season.

31' Luiz picked up an injury earlier in the half and he's unable to continue, clutching his chest ever since. Guendouzi comes on to replace him in midfield.

30' Ronnow needs treatment, so the physios have come on to help him out. Guendouzi's also out warming up on the sidelines as Luiz won't be able to continue.

29' Saka nearly gets in behind, but Ronnow rushes off his line to prevent him getting a shot away. He's picked up an injury in the process - brave goalkeeping to close Saka down. But what a threat Saka is with his pace and footwork.

14' Luiz is clutching his rib cage as he walks off the pitch gingerly, but he's back on for the time being. How much longer, though, is up for debate.

3' An early tactical change for Arsenal with Luiz moving into holding midfield and Willock pushing on to make a three behind lone striker Aubameyang in a 4-2-3-1. From right to left then, the back four now comprises Chambers, Sokratis, Mustafi and Tierney.

1' KICK-OFF! Eintracht get the game started.
