90' + 7' FULL-TIME: VALENCIA 2-2 CHELSEA.
90' + 6'
MISS! It's a quick break upfield from Valencia and Gaya swings a good
cross across the face of goal. Rodrigo is running onto it at the far
post and makes contact with it but somehow manages to send it just wide
of the target.

90' + 4'
Gomez nods the ball down for Gaya and it looks like the left-back is
going to put a cross into the middle but he goes for goal instead. He's
trying to catch Kepa out at his near post, but it ends up being a
comfortable save for the keeper.
90' + 2'
Azpilicueta switches play out to James on the right and the defender
just isn't picked up. He puts his cross in from the byline, but
Cillessen is quickly off his line to collect it at the near post.
90'
GREAT SAVE! Batshuayi cuts inside before getting his shot away from the
edge of the box. It's a powerful hit that takes a big deflection off
Gabriel on its way towards goal and Cillessen, who was diving the wrong
way, does brilliantly to keep it out.
87' Yellow card Gabriel Armando de Abreu
84' Once again, the game is wide open as Valencia clear their lines and set off on a quick counter-attack from a Chelsea corner. Parejo tries to pick out Gaya with a throughball, but the defender had drifted offside.
82' IT'S A WONDERFUL GOAL! It's come out of nowhere for Valencia as Wass tries to whip a cross back into the box, but it ends up in the back of the net instead. Kepa is well beaten as the ball sails over him, off the far post and over the line. 2-2!
78' Kepa is taking his time to take his goal-kick and the referee goes across to show him a yellow card.
65' IT'S SAVED! Parejo steps up to take the spot-kick and it's a confident run up from the captain. His shot is going to the left but he can't beat Kepa. Still 2-1 Chelsea!

63' PENALTY TO VALENCIA! It was a very clumsy challenge as both Jorginho and Gaya ran to get on the end of Soler's throughball. The referee immediately pointed to the spot and after a VAR check, the decision on the field stands.
50' IT'S GIVEN! The replays show that Garay was just playing Pulisic onside and the goal stands. It's 2-1 Chelsea!
45' + 4' HALF-TIME: VALENCIA 1-1 CHELSEA.
44' GOOD SAVE! Kovacic is already looking for his second goal of the game as Valencia don't clear their lines once again and it falls to his feet. It's a good strike from the midfielder, but it's at a comfortable height for the keeper who pushes it out of play.
41' IT'S LEVEL! Valencia didn't even have their lead for a minute as Chelsea went straight on the attack from the restart. The home side don't clear their lines and Garay nods it straight to Kovacic, who turns before drilling his shot low into the bottom left corner from outside the box. 1-1!

40' VALENCIA LEAD! The cross into the box from Rodrigo drops perfectly into the middle and Soler makes a great run through the penalty area without being picked up and volleys his effort past Kepa, who does get a hand to it, and over the line. 1-0 Valencia!

37' GOOD CHANCE! Abraham nods it down for Kante on the edge of the box and the midfielder decides to have a shot. He leans back as he takes it though and fires it high into the stands.
34' Kante brings the ball down brilliantly under a challenge from Garay before picking out James down the right. He drills a low cross into the box and picks out Abraham at the near post, but Gabriel makes a good block to deny him.
32' Kovacic lays the ball off quickly to Pulisic and is blocked off deliberately by Wass, who is shown a yellow card for his challenge.
30' GOOD CHANCE! Parejo plays a good, low cross into the box and he's trying to pick out Torres in the middle. He misses it though and it runs through to Gomez who takes a touch before firing his shot towards goal. Kepa makes himself big though and puts it out for a corner.

21' Valencia are one of five teams yet to score in the first half of a Champions League game this season, with all six of their games coming after the break.
19' WHAT A MISS! It's a quick break down the field by Valencia and Rodrigo times his run perfectly to stay onside. He squares his cross to Gomez at the far post and it looks like it's going to be a tap-in for him, but it goes through his legs.
18' Gaya is just down at the minute after being caught late on his ankle by Kante. He doesn't need any treatment though and he's helped back to his feet by Garay.
16' Valencia are just starting to push forward more now with Soler leading the attack down the right. He's trying to pull away from James to get some space down the left, but the defender does really well to stop him from putting a cross into the box.
14' GREAT CHANCE! It's another brilliant cross into the box from James and this time he picks out Abraham at the near post. He's being tightly marked by Garay so has to get his shot away quickly, but can only fire it over the crossbar
13' Chelsea have a free-kick in a good position after Costa slides in on Pulisic and Willian is standing over it. He goes for goal himself, curling his effort towards goal, but it's straight at Cillessen.
7' Jorginho picks up the first yellow card of the game for that challenge on Torres.
4' Chelsea are seeing a lot of the ball here in the opening minutes as they work they way upfield with intent yet again. Costa loses track of the pass into Willian on the edge of the box but recovers well to dispossess him.
2' GREAT CHANCE! It's a brilliant first-time cross into the box from James on the right and Willian pulls away from Costa at the far post to get his head to it. It's a good effort from the Brazilian but it sails over the crossbar.
1' Abraham gets the game underway for Chelsea!
