90' + 5' FULL-TIME: CHELSEA 0-2 SOUTHAMPTON
73' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! REDMOND DOUBLES SOUTHAMPTON'S LEAD!!!! 2-0!!!! The Saints notch a second goal with a sublime team move. It builds down the right as Cedric works the ball to Armstrong. He takes a neat touch to beat one challenge and then spots Redmond in space in the left inside channel. His lofted pass takes a deflection, but still finds his team-mate. Redmond sticks out his right boot to clip the ball over Kepa and into the back of the net.
31' GOAL!!!!! OBAFEMI SCORES A STUNNER!!!! 1-0!!! The Saints take the lead on the road courtesy of a fine goal from Obafemi. Hojbjerg releases the run of the forward in the final third. There is plenty of work for Obafemi to do and he sprints away from Tomori before cutting inside on his left foot. Zouma affords him space and time to pick his spot and he lets fly with a fine strike that soars into the top-left corner.
25' Chelsea failed to have a shot in the opening 20 minutes of a home Premier League game for the first time since last December against Man City.
24' Ward-Prowse whips a cross into the box and it pinballs around the area, but Jorginho does enough to divert it away from an acrobatic attempt from Adams. Willian then wins a free-kick to allow his team to clear the danger.
23' Rudiger brings down Bertrand on the charge. The Saints have a free-kick in a decent position on the left flank.
22' SAVE! Hudson-Odoi floats a dangerous cross to the back post where Tomori and Rudiger are lurking. Tomori rises to head at goal, but his effort is tame and straight at McCarthy.
16' Chelsea win the ball back high up the pitch and Willian goes on the charge through the middle, only to be denied by a well-timed challenge from Armstrong.
14' The Blues are being frustrated in the final third. There is not a lot of space to operate for Hudson-Odoi and Willian.
12' Southampton are keeping it tight at the back and are limiting the home side's space in the final third. Hasenhuttl will be pleased with the Saints' start.
10' Abraham tries to break down the right flank and he cuts the ball back looking to either pick out a team-mate or win a corner off the legs of Bednarek, but his cross goes straight to Hojbjerg.
8' Hudson-Odoi and Willian combine down the left flank, but the latter's cutback towards Jorginho is intercepted by Stephens.
6' Emerson tries to find space down the left flank, but he gets halted by a loose challenge from Armstrong, winning a free-kick.
1' We're underway at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have won seven of their last eight Premier League games against Southampton (D1), since a 1-3 home loss in October 2015.
