Manchester United vs Everton Highlights

90' + 4' FULL-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 EVERTON

79' That was a very good finish from young striker Greenwood, pretty much from nothing more than half a chance. It sets up what should be a thrilling conclusion, with both teams keen to grab a winner.

77' James has been a lot more involved in the match in the second half and played a big part in the equaliser by cutting inside and picking out Greenwood.

77' GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!! MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 EVERTON!! Substitute Greenwood drags United back on level terms! James cuts inside and lays it off to Greenwood, who shows just why he is rated so highly by Solskjaer as he picks out the bottom corner from 18 yards.

75' McTominay gives the ball away and Richarlison is given the chance to carry it into the box. He is one-on-one with Wan-Bissaka, but the United defender slides in to win back possession.
62' United goalkeeper De Gea has now gone 12 Premier League games without a clean sheet, his longest such run in the competition.
60' Maguire heads a right-sided cross wide. The final touch comes off an Everton player, though, and another corner is awarded. This latest set-piece is poor and Everton can regroup.
59' James is finally growing into the game, helping to win his side another corner. The set-piece is easily dealt with, but the home team are knocking on the door for a leveller.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 0-1 EVERTON
45' Two minutes have been added on at the end of the first half.
44' Maguire is unable to make clean contact with the corner. The ball runs through to James, but his delivery is poor and goes straight behind for a goal-kick.
43' Everton are looking nice and compact in their 4-4-2 setup. Rashford is still getting on the ball down the left but, unlike in the opening quarter of the game, the visitors are dealing with his threat. A word on Baines, too - he has done very well since replacing Digne at left-back.
41' Solskjaer's men are really struggling to get any sort of attacking momentum. After impressive back-to-back wins over Tottenham and Manchester City, this would be a massive setback for them if it remains this way.
39' Lindelof is the first United player to score a Premier League own goal at Old Trafford since Marcos Rojo v Arsenal in December 2018. It is his second own goal for Unite, having also put into his own net against West Ham in September 2018.
37' United wanted the goal ruled out as Calvert-Lewin roughed up De Gea, who should have done better by punching the corner clear. After a VAR check, though, it is allowed to stand.

36' GOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!! MANCHESTER UNITED 0-1 EVERTON!! The visitors have taken control of the match over the last five minutes and are rewarded with the opening goal! De Gea gets a slight touch to Baines' right-sided corner and Maguire cannot readjust in time, the ball hitting his thigh and crossing the line for an own goal.

35' Baines' wide free-kick is a good one, but slightly too high for Calvert-Lewin to meet at the back post. Shaw heads it as far as Holgate, who miscues a volley wide from 25 yards.

27' McTominay brings the ball under control on the edge of the box and is caught by Davies. The Everton midfielder has already been booked and has given away two or three free-kicks since then - he has to be careful.
L. Baines
L. Digne
Everton
25' Digne is unable to shake off the injury and is replaced by Baines in a like-for-like change.
24' United are having a lot of joy down their left through Rashford and Martial. There is a stoppage in play as Digne, a fitness doubt ahead of today's match, has pulled up.
22' The tempo of the match has dropped a bit over the last five minutes or so. United are still the side on top, with their attackers involved in some nice link-up play, but clear-cut chances have been hard to come by.
20' Everton won their last Premier League meeting with United - 4-0 at Goodison Park in April. They have not won consecutive league games against today's opponents since completing the double over them in 2013-14.
18' Martial attempts to jink past Keane but is sent crashing to the floor right on the edge of the box. The France international looks at the referee but Keane got some of the ball first - good defending.
16' Lingard tries to block Keane's clearance and is rather out of control when lunging in. The referee Michael Oliver gives the United midfielder a talking to and play resumes.

15' Everton are not really coping with United's pace down the flanks. The home side have been on top so far and have already had a few sights of goal, with Lingard coming closest to scoring inside the first minute.
13' Pickford is unsure whether to come off his line or race towards the ball and in the end does a bit of both. James nearly profits as he gets to it first and shoots across the face of goal. Coleman and Digne are not happy with their hesitant goalkeeper.
11' NEARLY! Rashford has his first sight of goal. The England international latches on to Lindelof's pass and takes the ball away from Everton's covering defenders, only to flash his shot wide from a tight angle.
9' It is difficult to work out exactly what formation Everton are using. It looks to be a 5-3-2 when defending and a 4-4-2 when in possession, with Holgate shifting into midfield depending on the situation.

7' SHOT! Richarlison lays the ball off for Holgate, who gets in a first-time shot from outside the box. The attempt is far too central, though, and De Gea has an easy stop to make.

5' McTominay tries to launch an attack through central midfield but is clattered by Davies, who is shown an early yellow card.
4' United defend Everton's first corner but struggle to deal with the second one. The ball drops to Bernard outside the box, the Brazilian midfielder miscuing his shot horribly off target.

2' CLOSE!  Rashford wins an aerial dual to play in Martial, who lays the ball into the path of Fred. The ball then drops to Lingard 12 yards out, but he shoots wide on the turn.
1' KICK-OFF! United, aiming to make it three Premier League wins in a row for the first time since January, get us up and running at Old Trafford!
