9' Man City get three corners in a row that don't lead to very much, the first stemming from a Cancelo blocked shot. Sterling is aggrieved as he goes down in the box under some pressure, but the referee isn't persuaded.
7' City really do want to kill this off early! Gundogan floats a ball over the top for Aguero, peeling away at the far post. Aguero cushions a header towards goal and it's acrobatically tipped away by De Gea! The ball soon comes back into the box to Cancelo and De Gea makes a fantastic stop with his feet!
5' Man City are taking the game to their cross-city rivals early on. City work the ball down the left with some nice quick triangles between Sterling, Aguero and Silva. Jones comes away with the ball near the byline and eventually gets rid.
3' Man Utd are playing a 3-5-2 with Lingard deep in midfield. Sterling pops a ball inside to Aguero who takes a touch and drifts to the outside of the box. Lingard blocks the Argentine's pass and Rodri's follow-up shot.
